GREATBOYFRIENDS.COM –- WHERE SMART PEOPLE GO TO SET UP THEIR FRIENDS

The Press Goes Absolutely Mad

Shortly after GreatBoyfriends.com appeared in ELLE magazine, The New York Times published a raucously engaging story about GBF on the front page of their coveted Sunday Styles section. The article, written by the illustrious Ginia Bellafante, is overwhelming - excitingly -- positive. Traffic to the site doubles. Then it doubles again. The same week, Newsweek publishes an even more delicious piece about GBF by Seth Moonkin.

Within a couple of days of the Newsweek piece, the Brits discover GreatBoyfriends.com and it becomes bigger than the Beatles in the UK. The London Times puts it on its front page! The Guardian, the Sun and the Observer, the Mail, and the Mirror all run breathless stories. Even the august Sunday Times weighs in a lovely piece. The Brits just can't get over the idea of ex-girlfriends recommending their "cast-off blokes".

…But the American love affair is unmatched!

The CBS Early Show and CNN Headline News run stories about GBF and the site receives over three million hits in six days. Hope surges. Women begin meeting absolutely marvelous men. People begin falling in love. And by the time E. Jean sits down with the handsome rogue, Matt Lauer, on TODAY, the site is running at about a million hits a day. FOX News -- national and local -- air segments.

…but what happens next throws the sisters for a loop!

Now buried in emails of girlfriend's exploits and budding love affairs, the girls were sent into shrieks when OPRAH called!!! The talk-show maven ran not one, but two segments about GBF! Next, came a 48 Hours sweeps special.

Major newspapers and magazines come out with features -- Glamour, Details, and In Touch. E. Jean and Cande are just blown away! Here they are creating a tiny, little website to help women out, and Boom! GreatBoyfriends.com has not only gathered some of the most devastating men on the planet, it has become the most trustworthy dating site on the World Wide Web.
